ORIGINAL SERIES CCBCO 1961-1978/1979...THE LATE YEARS.

This compilation is a continuation of earlier studies from the 1916-1960 era. All of the lures & colors in wood & plastic will be covered from the "Classic" series that were still in production post 1960. Although new colors are part of the study, the REPLACEMENT SERIES such as Giant Pikie, etc. WON'T  be listed. Again, only Classic lures from the original CCBCO series are shown here.

The wooden baits that employed tack eyes  were first pictured  in the 1961 catalog. Hence, this the beginning date for these tables. Painted eye baits & plastic lures are also listed. No "special" colors are shown.

Some of the series are complex. A good example is the #700 Pikie, made in wood & plastic plus Deep Diver versions. Creek Chub introduced colors, then quit making them, only to start production again.  Deep Divers were not offered in 1965-1966. Sometimes lures would be listed in the general catalog index for a particular year but not listed individually with a slate of colors! Footnotes will be entered to attempt to untangle the confusion.

NOTE: All the series were introduced before 1961 but the dates listed here for each lure/color are between
1961-1978/'79 to fit into the scope of this study. 
CCBCo ownership was sold to a new corporation in 1978. They continued producing lures at the Garrett, IN facility
until early 1979, hence the dual closing dates of Creek Chub.
